Job Title: Maintenance Technician 

Living Springs Senior Residence, Living Springs Manor, and Abundant Life Fellowship 

Company: Abundant Life CDC 

Reports: Property Site Superintendent 

Hours: Part-time 28 hours/week 8:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday thru Thursday and emergency on-call 

Job/Position Summary: 

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for building systems, equipment, and property facilities to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment. 

Position Duties & Responsibilities: 

Perform general maintenance and repair work including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting under the supervision of the Site Superintendent 

Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner. 

Complete preventative maintenance inspections and repairs. 

Respond to work orders, emergency maintenance requests, and service calls. 

Maintain grounds, common areas, light landscaping duties and building appearance. 

Install, repair, and replace fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed. 

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies. 

Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory of supplies and tools. 

Coordinate with vendors and contractors when necessary. 

Routine setup/breakdown for events, meetings, etc… 

Assist with apartment turns, renovations, and property upkeep. 

Collaboration with Site Manager and CDC Staff 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

Previous maintenance, facilities, or landscaping experience preferred. 

Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. 

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely. 

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Excellent communication and customer service skills. 

Valid driver's license may be required. 

Computer literate (Email proficiency, ability to work with automated work order system and tenant portal) 

Physical Demands of Job 

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. 

Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions. 

Availability for on-call or after-hours emergencies as needed.
